Speaking of which, and I don't know why I didn't mention this earlier
- Charles Dickens deserves and award, if he has not been awarded it already,
for the longest run-on sentence ever, or an honorary mention for long
sentence writing because if he didn't actually author the world's longest
run-on sentence he certainly authored the longest string of them throughout
his career which should be more than sufficient for such an award, or
at least a mention, which you will note here.
