It is difficult to convince people that you are the good guys when you have weapons of precision destruction that are named things like "Hellfire" and "Tomahawk" (which is coincidentally the same name as a weapon belonging to America's previous inhabitants, which we all but killed).
Granted, these names are a little less contradictory than "FireFlower", or "Makes peace with big death" and "Heaven's Fury" would make us sound a little arrogant... (pauses to consider that last one)
