At first I thought this was a dwarf because I had never seen an elf with a beard.
Then I remembered that Papa Smurf was the only smurf with a beard - so therefore this could be a really old elf.
As Suzie pointed out: it all comes back to the facial hair.

But you have seen elves without beards?
I think the only way to settle this is to have your glowing green friend take the test "Are you a Hobbit, Dwarf, Human, Elf, or Orc" found on Quizilla.
