I think we need someone to flesh out the details of this tragic love story; two daughters of warring political powers meet during spring break and fall in love. Jenna Bush has been doing shooters with some of her friends from UT stumbles into an inibriated Chelsea Clinton and sparks fly.
So does the news the next day.
The Bush's, opposers of gay unions send the secret service helicopters to abduct Jenna and put her under 24-hour surveylance.
Hillary Clinton is outraged and demands Jenna's release.
Bill Clinton gets invoved to try to keep the peace.
Chelsea vows to liberate her true love and escape to Vermont where former presidential hopeful Howard Dean has offered them asylum.
They are joined by a cast of religious fundamentalists with gun racks, NYU student protesters, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity (pretends to be neutral but can't hide his true agenda and makes comments like "if they want to go off and be lesbians that's fine, but lord help our health care system and all of us...etc."), and the entire cast of Fox and CBS news.
It's a hilarious and tragic adventure through the land of "what if".
The key to the story will be to remain centrist and poke equal fun at all parties and show more character idiosyncrasies than outright name calling. Yeesh -- tall challenge.
