Wild Cats
So wild cats are faster than we are. If you're hiking through the woods you may think to yourself "Even though I'm slower than wild cats, those old people with the walking sticks are slower than me - AND I have Gore-tex so I'm cool."
And you may be right, but consider this: low-tech sticks always have been, and continue to be, great ways to poke wild cats in the eye.
