Philosophy "Mash Up"

While it is never to late to try something new, every day that passes before doing it is a day lost.

Ooh Woo Ooo

Ooh_Woo_Ooo.jpg It is the beginning of the phrase "Oh yeah". It's something that when you feel it, you feel it. Much more difficult to pull off than your average "La La La" or "Oooo Weee Oooo", Ooh Woo Ooo is a collection of songs that literally contain the phrase "Ooh Woo Ooo", sung by some of the best lead and backup vocalists in the industry. Tune in and, oh, feel free to hug your headphones.

1. Clarity (John Mayer)
2. Clocks (Coldplay)
3. Yoo Hoo (Imperial Teen)
4. Song 2 (Blur)
5. Can't Find My Way Home (Blind Faith)
6. So Cruel (U2)
7. It's All Been Done (Barenaked Ladies)
8. Middle of Road (Pretenders)
9. Don't Worry, Be Happy (Bobby McFerrin)
10. Gimme Shelter (Rolling Stones)
11. Rocket (Def Leppard)
12. Millenium (Robbie Williams)
13. Walking Into The Sun (Weekend Players)

Walking Into The Sun

walking_into_the_sun.jpg This is duckstop's first unofficial foray into playlist sharing (not through the iTunes music store, sorry), and the official submission of the theory that DJs are reincarnated sun-worshippers. Sound far-fetched? Consider the following dance club mix:

1. Sunshine (Vertical Horizon)
2. Chase the Sun (Planet Funk)
3. Suntoucher (Groove Armada)
4. Walk into the Sun (Dirty Vegas)
5. Into The Sun (Weekend Players)
6. Center of the Sun (Conjure One)
7. Sundown (Gordon Lightfoot -- played as the club closes)

Lines in the Globally-warmed Sand

After taking a look at the below map one might laugh, but when you sit down and consider it...it makes a lot of sense. If we were to redraw our borders like this you'd end up with a country where we'd all be highly educated, multi-lingual (English/French), environmentally aware, have health insurance and low crime, and live in some of the most beautiful land in N. America. In addition we'd own the part of the globe that will be one of the last to be affected by global warming.
