Belated Seasons Greetings from Flatbush

(full sized image is 800x600px, 156kb)
Though late (as always, it seems), 2004's Greeting Card is uniquely Brooklyn. You can see the following 'hood necessities in this photograph (taken a block from the Haus Interactive offices:
- "Flatbush Ave" - Flatbush Avenue runs pretty much the length of the entire borough
- "Entry Level" SUV (Cadillacs are the #1 choice at this time)
- City Bus with badass American flag (the subways now all have these as well)
- "Dollar Van" (Blur in front of city bus -- Dollar vanes are like taxis, except that they are $1.50 and run up and down Flatbush. They are driven by maniacal maniacs)
- Unmarked police car
- Ambulance
- Brownstone Buildings
- A regular (alternating) patrol of Police and thugs
- Pirated DVDs and CDs for sale on blankets on the sidewalk (for a limited time only!)
- Baby Mammas with strollers
- Fried Chicken shacks every 1.5 blocks
- Junk, trash, furniture and dog droppings on sidewalk
Happy Holidays!
