Monkeyrides

It is true that credit card companies, banks and many others advertise that they are here to *help* you, and to a certain extent this may be true if you need to purchase knowledge or tools that you can not currently afford. But it is important to note that these companies are far and away the world's largest importer/exporter/mover of monkeys.

How can this be? Think of each loan you have as being a monkey who you have offered to give a piggy back ride to. You will be with this monkey for a fixed amount of time if you have a loan with a payment schedule -- or indefinitely if you have a credit card. Many financial institutions have more monkeys they know what to do with so they have no choice but to unleash them on the public at large. They will try to lour you in with semi-transparent plastic, incredible "rates" that they will use to make money on you with, and yes, lies and deception.

If you are like many Americans and you prance off to college without a full scholarship you are likely now living with a barrel full of monkeys and it is sad as there is often little other choice aside from being a nerd, dweeb, dork, or geek.

Monkeys are like screaming children, they are funny and entertaining when they're not yours. This is the national council for financial independence urging you to say "No" to monkeys.

We will make sense at you

We think it would be useful to create a variation on the word "coherent" so that it can also suggest that what you are about to read or hear is a long rant-like tirade (though very well thought out). This word would be "coherant".
