Most Things are Actually Broken
It isn't until you start working with complex systems that you start to recognize tangled messes for what they are, and that with our constant march forward, humanity will probably never get a chance to go back and fix them. Like having streets with more than one name. Or streets that go by different names depending on if you turn right or left on to them.
